About Me

Jane St.Pierre, Mom of two fantastic daughters, Grammie to five spectacular kids, 2 boys, 3 girls. Avid quilter, married "forever" to my best friend, Lee.


I love the 4-letter word beginning with H. I love all types of hand work, and always have something in the works like applique or hand quilting. I also knit and crochet. Unfortunately, there is not enough time to make all the quilts in my head if it's by hand, so I do machine work too. I learned most of the "hand" work skills from my Grandmother Jane. She would whip up a shirt for one of her sons before breakfast in the morning.

I cannot pick a "favorite" type of fabric or style, but I do favor brights, clear pastels, and batiks, even though I love the reproductions too. I guess that's the Gemini in me. Why put limits on yourself.
